On our card

A blindfolded witch sits on a stone bench by the sea beneath a crescent moon, a sword raised in each hand with the blades crossed above her head.

Two of Swords upright — the meaning

Two equal options, two loyalties, or two pieces of information that do not yet fit together — this card describes a thoughtful pause between them. The blindfold suggests some choices cannot be made by looking harder; values, feelings, and timing matter too. A temporary truce can be wise, and sitting with a question is not failing to answer it. Notice whether peace is being kept at a cost, and let rest protect your judgement while the picture completes itself.

Two of Swords reversed — the meaning

Reversed, the careful balance can tip into overload. Too much advice, too many opinions, or a choice postponed for too long can leave the mind spinning without moving anywhere. Avoidance may now cost more than the decision itself. Instead of forcing a grand answer, try shrinking the question: what is the smallest next step, and what information is genuinely missing? Naming a deadline or limiting outside input can loosen the knot and reveal a workable path.

Lunar lens — Waxing Crescent

This card suits the Waxing Crescent, a phase of small, tentative steps while the light is still growing. Practice: list both options in two columns, circle one value that matters most, and take only the next small step toward it.
